Father is back home now. The excess fluids are being eliminated, slowly, but they're going. One doctor raised a concern as he was leaving, but he's going to have his normal doctor schedule him for a test to check. Completely non invasive, and can take a 3d image inside the body. Interesting stuff.

He's getting better, slowly, so for now he's still dependent on me for a lot.

Excuse me. But for those of you wondering to the cause of the outburst, I direct you to read this.

Well, my father's situation hadn't improved, and it was causing him lots of pain whenever he had to move, so he decided to go into the hospital on Saturday. He's still there now, as the problem hasn't gone away yet. Basically, due to the switching of his meds, his body is retaining excess fluids that need to be eliminated. So that's what they're doing in the hospital, but it's taking a while. I know how he hates the place, but at least he's getting the care he needs.

Hello everyone. Yes, I haven't written anything in forever. Mainly because I didn't feel I had anything worth writing about. I started the summer semester now. Only 2 classes, but I'm not familiar with either of them, so I'm a bit worried. I'll just bust my ass and do my best.

The bad: My father isn't doing all that well. his doctor switched a medication he was taking, which had bad adverse side effects. So his doctor switched him to something else, which also had adverse side effects, but not all the ones the previous one did. So he's back on what he was taking before. He feels marginally better, but still generally feels like absolute crap.

The tiny little bit of good. I finished BLU AF1 last night, and now have in my possession my Immortal's Scimitar.

After replacing the motherboard (which probably didn't need to be replaced, but since the old one was buggy, it's just as well) and the power supply (which definitely needed replacing), my tower finally works again.

Not much else to report at this time.

For the rest of us, as one friend of mine put it, Happy Sad Lonely Bastards Day. But I think that's April 14th on Black Day.

Well, Monday was my birthday. I'm 31 now. And I refuse to let it bother me. Thanks to those that wished me well. For those of you that want to know, I went to Longhorn Steakhouse with my family on Sunday. Got a huge steak, most of which came home with me. And on my birthday, I went with some friends to Daimatsu, a really good Japanese place near my college. It's great because it has more than just sushi, which is what most of the other Japanese places down here seem to do.

But unfortunately, I couldn't escape. Yes, as I type this now, I'm sick. Fun with sinus pressure. I can't even use my breathing machine for too long or the pressure builds up in my head giving me a horrible headache. I had a test today, so I had to show up for that, but I skipped the rest of my classes. Hopefully I'm well by Saturday; I have a ren faire to go to.

Also, as some of you may know, my main computer died. There was a short on the motherboard somewhere, causing the power supply to trip continuously. I acquired a replacement socket 478 board, but unfortunately, it was DOA. Thankfully, I can return it and just get another one. Which I'm doing. So for now, I have my laptop, at least.
